The secrets to weight loss, we've been bamboozled into thinking, are to be found in 101 weight loss tips to with food and eating. Not so say pundits of the laws of attraction.
According to Rhonda Byrne in the phenomenal book 'The Secret,' and Esther Hicks in "Ask and it is Given," the secrets to weight loss lie in a simple principle. Like attracts like and there are no exceptions to this law of attraction. If your thoughts are 'fat thoughts' then you're busy creating and attracting to you the condition of fat.

is creating a field that magnetically attracts things to you.
The Law of Attraction works 24/7 - it's ancient wisdom has been written about in every holy text since the beginning of time.
Rhonda Byrne in 'The Secret' shares the secrets to weight loss when she says that the more focussed you are on losing weight, the more you will attract back to you having to lose weight. That's why the

So the real secret to weight loss then is that if you want to stop attracting the condition of being fat to you, you need to take your attention away from being fat and place it elsewhere.
The law of attraction combines with other psychological and physiological reasons that
diets don't work and instead only keep you getting fatter.
The law of attraction also holds other secrets for weight loss. Rhonda Byrne says it best: "...the condition of being overweight was created through your thought to do it... if someone is overweight, it came from thinking "fat thoughts," whether that person was aware of it or not.

How to apply the Secrets to weight loss
Let's take this a step further. What happens when you eat a certain type of food and you've heard a million times eating it will make you fat. So as you're thinking those 'If I eat this I'm going to get fat' thoughts - you're activating the Law of Attraction to respond to 'your request' by making you so.
Ever watched those people who have no fear of food and yet can eat anything and as much as they want without ever gaining weight? Ever heard them say - I can eat anything I want and I never gain weight? They are proof that the law of attraction delivers. They are showing us the secrets to weight loss. You can have that too.

Rhonda Byrne says this about food: "The most common thought that people hold...is that food was responsible for my weght gain... Food is not responsible for putting on weight. It is your thought that food is responsible for putting on weight that actually has food put on weight...Let go of all those limiting thoughts. Food cannot cause you to put on weight unless you think it can."
Herein lie the secrets to weight loss.
You've heard how difficult it is to lose weight after a baby is born. As you go through your pregnancy you keep praying you aren't going to be "one of the ones who struggles to lose weight after the baby is born." The problem is that even in that 'prayer' you're giving that fat thought attention.
Then you wonder why you manifest stubborn 'after-baby' fat that you keep telling ourselves "doesn't want to seem to leave". And the more you think "this fat doesn't want to leave" the more it proves you correct.
You're heard you pick up weight at menopause - and as you approach menopause you start wondering when or if it's going to happen to you and viola - it does!
And the more you look at your body and think I hate all this fat- the more fat you cause to manifest. It also contributes to the vicious cycle and why, the more we diet, the fatter we get.
We're fearful we're going to gain weight and so we do. We notice we're gaining weight and focus on wanting to lose it and by so doing we attract more to lose and so on.

Attract a JOY-FILLED BODY instead
You cannot attract a healthy vibrant feeling body if you feel bad about your body. If you're constantly focussing on "I hate my body", you'll attract more things to hate about your body be that cellulite, more fat, wrinkles or whatever.
But what happens when you start focussing on having a joy-filled body? One that feels alive, vibrant, healthy and fabulous? Then that's what we'll manifest instead!
If our collective thinking (just think how many people are living with "I have to find the secrets to weight loss thoughts," it's no wonder then, that we are collectively manifesting larger people and more diets. Through the quantum energy field, in which we are all one - our thoughts all contribute to the world we are creating.
But here's the thing Esther Hicks point out: Well-being, health and joy flow towards everyone all the time (there are no exceptions to this). Whether you receive them depends on whether your'e in a position of allowing or resisting them.
Your emotions are your guidance system - they tell you what you're busy attracting towards you. When you're happy and joyous, you're allowing joy and well-being to find you, you're manifesting a happy, healthy body.
When your power of thought is causing you to feel negative, your feelings are merely alerting you to the fact that you're blocking or resisting well-being and joy. It's as if they're creating a disruption that is not allowing health and well-being to flow towards you.
What if the simple solution to our body woes can be found having: Joy-filled body thoughts? What if the solution to our health problems is the power of thought that creates self-love instead of self-hatred?
